Epilogue
We arrived to the end of this four intensive days, maybe the most intense of my recent past. Piero and I did a lot of things because not only did we visit R&C, we also played together, repaired a PC, made some accessories describe in the tweaking section and planned future activities. During these two days spent between Crevacuore and Quarna we worked night and day and we really enjoyed ourselves. I am very grateful to all the people who helped me during this little adventure. In particular I am grateful to Piero’s family for their hospitality, my parents, Enrico, Anna and little Chicca for putting me up and helping to break the long journey and of course for feeding (see below) and watering me and my soul.
I would also like to thank Letizia and Andrea for their patience and their moral support. Finally I would like to thank again Claudio and Roberto Zolla for their kindness and for giving up their holiday time to the whims of two crazy saxophone players. I came back home a little tired but happy because I met a lot of extraordinary people and conscious of having done something of importance and I am not referring to this report (at least not only to it). A very special thank to Manlio Mannisi, an italian saxophone player and a very good woodwind repairer who lives near London and helped me a lot with this tour translation. Manlio is a nice person, a good friend of mine. In his workshop time by time you will exclusively find my mouthpieces prototypes :)
I invite the Hobbysax reader to follow as usual the web site updates and to contribute with new ideas to its development as already happend until now. If you enjoyed this virtual tour, please let me know (info(at)hobbysax.com) otherwise tell me what is missing and what do you want to find the next time. Finally stay tuned because a new exciting tour is coming....
All the best,
